It's everywhere: on neighboring Mt. Will, on the Appalachian Trail just a few minutes away in awesome Grafton Notch State park, on the new and highly-acclaimed Grafton Loop Trail, at charming Step Falls, and in beautiful Evans Notch. And the world-famous Presidentials are just one hour away.

Fly fishing on any of the rivers listed above, lake fishing on the Rangeley's, Sebago, Kezar or Long Lake - all with public boat access - anglers can go for brookies and browns, salmon, small-mouth bass or togue (I've seen 'em over 15 pounds, but can't tell you where.)

Swim, water-ski, tube, windsurf or sail on any of our many public-access lakes, some up to 20 miles long.

Road or mountain?...take your pick! There are abundant opportunities for both, either on a recreational or more serious level. Boyne management has re-opened Sunday River's lift serviced trails for mountain bikers, and there are many options for road bikers to wind their way through the gorgeous scenery of the notches and/or the lakesides.

Riverbend enjoys direct access to the ITF snowmobile trail network. The developers have worked to ensure that access to the trail system is continued and outdoor enthusiasts can continue to indulge in their passion.
